Kids Draw Architecture

Event Description

Kids Draw Architecture: Aspiring artists and architects have a chance to work with local experts as they walk through Downtown Coeur d’Alene and sketch local architecture. An exhibit of the original drawings will be at the Human Rights Education Center.

Check-in 12:30 pm at the Human Rights Education Institute (located at 414 Mullan Rd, Coeur d’Alene on the edge of the Coeur d’Alene City Park)

• Part 1 - Setting the Scene – Presentation by Kevin Jester, Architects West

• Part 2 - Tips for Drawing Architecture – Group teaching session on sketching architecture

• Part 3 - Small group, on-site sketching under the guidance of architects and artists of downtown Coeur d’Alene.

• Part 4 – Submit two of your best drawings for the display at HREI.

Party from 4-5 pm at the Human Rights Institute. Open to families of participants. Pizza and drinks provided. Artwork by the participants will be on display.
